Police issues notice to Cong leader Revanth Reddy

Recently, a complaint was lodged by S. Ramarao, a lawyer, at the Jubilee Hills police station alleging that Reddy, who was a member in the governing body of the society in 2001, had allotted plots fraudulently.

Hyderabad: The West Zone police have issued a notice to Congress leader and former MLA A.Revanth Reddy to appear before them for questioning in connection with a cheating and forgery case pertaining to the Jubilee Hills Co-operative Housing Society.

Recently, a complaint was lodged by S. Ramarao, a lawyer, at the Jubilee Hills police station alleging that Reddy, who was a member in the governing body of the society in 2001, had allotted plots fraudulently.

However, in his reply to the police, Revanth Reddy said he could not appear before them now, as he was busy with his political commitments.
