Hyderabad: Well-known journalist Potturi Venkateswara Rao greeted Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on the eve of his birthday.

“People are living in peace under your rule. Gradually, the living standards of the people is becoming better and I believe there is no political corruption,” he said in his letter of greetings to the Chief Minister.

Stating that both the industries and agriculture sectors are moving towards development in Telangana State, Venkateswara Rao said: “More than anything else, there is a bonhomie among the two Telugu States and its peoples. Your policies are helping this friendship. You are ruling beyond caste or religion. Your action plans are proving that you intend to do good to all sections of the people.”

“You are protecting national integrity. While respecting other religions, you are doing yeoman service to the temples. You have changed the face of Yadagiri and created a wonderful atmosphere there,” he said, adding that the core strength of the Chief Minister’s policies was his humanity. “The latest example of this is your act of restoring pension to my dear friend Late Bhandaru Parvathala Rao’s wife,” he said.

“I sincerely hope you will rule for some more time with the policies that are for the people. I pray to the Jaganmatha, whom I worship, to give you good health and longevity and the right circumstances to continue with your governance,” he said.
