TS launches a promotional campaign for admissions in residential schools.

Siddipet: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao launched a campaign on minority government residential schools in Siddipet district recently by flagging off the promotional vehicle. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister has called upon the minorities to apply online for admissions in new residential schools, which will be operated from 2017-18 academic year.

Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao wanted to provide the best education to minorities, he said that they believe that only proper education will reduce the poverty level among minorities. Harish Rao announced that the State government is going to start three more new residential schools exclusively for minorities from coming academic year in addition to the existing three. He also said that the admissions will be opened into standard V, VI and VII up to March 15.

To sensitise the people over the quality of the education they were providing at the minority residential schools, the Minister has said that they have decided to promote their schools across the district. The Minister also took part in a host of programmes.
