Raashi Khanna, who had never tried dubbing her voice in the movie she did in Telugu, is now giving bracing up to lend her voice for the female lead character in upcoming movie ‘World Famour Lover’. Taking to her social media account, the actor wrote, “Dubbing for the first time!! For #worldfamouslover I always had this fear that my voice or my diction won’t be very proper for a character.. but I surprised myself! Can’t wait for you all to hear my voice in the film…”
World Famour Lover starring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead, has already created a buzz with its first look poster. The movie is being directed by Kranthi Madhav and also features Catherine Tresa, Aishwarya Rajesh and Izabelle Leite as female leads. Making her screen debut with Madras Cafe in Hindi, Raashi was introduced to Telugu audience with Oohalu Gusagusalade starring Srinivas Avasarala in 2014. It was an instant romantic hit with critics heaping praises on Raashi’s acting skills and the film’s screenplay.
Her role as Bellam Sridevi in Dharam Tej-starrer Supreme too was hailed. However, her recent Telugu flick Ayogya did not make any noise at the box office. Apart from World Famous Lover, Raashi has another much-awaited project in hand – Venky Mama. Prathi Roju Panduge is another upcoming romantic flick in which she is paired opposite Dharam Tej. The movie is being directed by Maruthi Dasar. Sangathamizhan is another project she is working on in Tamil which has high expectations riding on it.
