Radhasapthami observed with religious fervour in Tirupati

JEO Sri B Lakshmikantham took part in the Suryaprabha Vahana Seva at Tiruchanoor, Tirupati.

Tirupati: The annual fete Surya Jayanthi was observed with religious fervour in the local temples of Tiruchanoor, Sri Kodandarama Swamy and Sri Govindaraja Swamy temples in Tirupati on Tuesday.

JEO Sri B Lakshmikantham took part in the Suryaprabha Vahana Seva at Tiruchanoor. The Goddess Padmavathi Devi in all her celestial grandeur took part in Saptha Vahana Sevas which commenced in morning and lasted till evening and concluding with Gaja Vahanam.

Also in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple, the Lord was taken on a celestial procession on seven vahanams while in Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple Sri Ramachandra Murthy was taken on a celestial ride on Surya Prabha Vahanam in the morning and on Chandra Prabha Vahanam in the evening.

TTD has made elaborate arrangements of food, water, security to the devotees who thronged these temples in large numbers.
