Hyderabad: Almost all districts of Telangana are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall at a few places with possibility of a heavy rainfall at isolated places in the next week (June 17 to June 23), according to an official bulletin issued here on Friday.
The South-West Monsoon remained active all over the State during the last week and above normal rainfall was reported in most parts of the State and moderate to heavy rain occurred in man places in North and Central parts of the State.
The press release added that the State continued with excess monsoon rais with seasonal raifnfll being surplus by 62 per cent.
Out of 584 mandals, 400 received excess to large excess, 99 mandals received normal and 62 mandals received deficit and 23 mandals reeied large deficit rain fall up to June 15.
The highest rainfall of 147 mm was recorded at Kuntala in Nirmal on June 16, the release added.
