Rainfall likely in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: After humid conditions over the last three days, the city is now witnessing cool weather.

Thanks to cloud formations, the mercury levels in the city have dropped to 33 degrees Celsius on Sunday giving some relief to the denizens.

Since the beginning of April, the city has been witnessing occasional rainfall activities and weather conditions on Sunday hinted that there might be some showers, however, there was no rainfall in the city.

When it rained in the city , the maximum temperatures hovered around 35 degree Celsius to 38 degrees Celsius resulting in relief for the Hyderabadis. On Saturday the maximum temperature in the city settled at 38 degrees Celsius.

According to India Meteorological Department, mercury levels in the city would hover below 40 degrees Celsius accompanied by partly cloudy sky with possibility of development of thunder lightning for the next four to five days.

IMD officials said that going by the forecast conditions, rains were likely to make an appearance in the city.
