Ranga Reddy to be developed into IT hub

Hyderabad: Ranga Reddy district will soon be developed into an IT hub, Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy said here on Saturday.

Speaking after inaugurating a sub-station constructed at a cost of over Rs 3 crore at Hytabad village in Shabad mandal of Ranga Reddy, the Minister said the State government was setting up 33/11 KV sub-stations to ensure uninterrupted power supply. The power supply problem in nine villages would be solved with the inauguration of the new sub-station at Hytabad, the Minister said, adding that 1,150 farmers and over 2,500 families would be benefited from the continuous power supply from the sub-station, he said.

The government was leaving no stone unturned in improving power supply in the district as IT, pharma and other companies were coming up soon, he added.
