Hyderabad: The State Finance Department said all payments to government staff with respect to GPF contributions, loans and medical reimbursements were being made on time.

The department said salaries were paid regularly between the first and fifth of every month while GPF, loans, medical reimbursements and other similar payments to government staff were made between 15th and 20th of every month.

The State government introduced e-Kuber system of Reserve Bank of India three months ago that ensures accurate and timely transfer of such funds. The details of each government employee are recorded in the system, including bank account number, IFSC code and PAN number, that ensures proper transfer of the amounts to the employee accounts.

If there are any discrepancies in terms of the payments, they arise only in the event of incorrect details or errors in information provided by the employee, the department said.

Any such delays were only because of these technical issues and not because of any regulation or restrictions on payments due to the employees, the Finance Department said in a release.
