RGUKT Basar sacks two accused employees

NIRMAL: The employee and assistant professor who were charged with cheating the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technologies (RGUKT)-Basar were sacked by the management.

In a press statement, Vice Chancellor Dr A Ashok said Morge Vishwanath, evaluation in-charge, and Madavedi Sudhakar, an assistant professor with the management department, were sacked for illegally giving marks to students after collecting money from them.

It may be recalled that the misdeeds of Vishwanath and Sudhakar were exposed when another assistant professor Ravi Varala was booked on charges of sexual harassment of some girl students recently. The three were arrested and sent to judicial remand on Thursday. They confessed to committing the crime.
