Natasha Doshi , one of the female leads of Jai Simha, which is releasing today, is excited about her debut film. The Mumbaiite has acted in Malayalam films already and has been a part of a few Hindi television serials too. While modelling and acting are her passion, Natasha is a dentist by profession.

When asked about why she chose Jai Simha as her debut film since young actors usually would like to act with younger heroes first, Natasha said that more than the hero, it was the script of the film that matters to her.

“When Ravikumar sir narrated me the script and my role, I was very impressed. I heard a lot about Balakrishna sir and watched many of his films which were dubbed in Hindi and released.

I grew up watching Nayanthara’s films too. So, why would I miss the opportunity of acting with such a huge cast,” Natasha shrugged.

Natasha is a very good dancer too and this made work easier for the director and choreographer. This film is going to have amazing dance moves performed by Balakrishna and Natasha together.

She has performed a floor moment which is not easy to do. “I enjoyed shooting for the Ammu Kutti song. It was not the dance that was tough to do but the scorching sun in Dubai I couldn’t even look at during the shot.

Being on the floor, facing the sun directly and making sure that eyes are not closed — the combination of these three was challenging,” she added.
