Hyderabad: The State government has released funds worth Rs 15 crore for construction of a multi-storeyed building for Telangana State Media Academy (TSMA). The government has issued order for this, TMSA Chairman, Allam Narayana said here.
The new building of the TSMA will have exclusive facilities aimed at providing training for journalists, computer training lab, library, mini-conference hall, parking and many other facilities will be a part of the proposed new building of TSMA.
Narayana said that Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao, during one of his visits to the academy in 2015, had promised to construct a new building.
“He visited the existing facility and suggested that infrastructure has to be upgraded so that journalists will benefit from the new building. Following the suggestions of the Chief Minister, authorities have released funds for the new project,” he added.
