Hyderabad: Sagar Chorasia (55) cracked a half century while Ajaydev Goud scalped four wickets to guide Hyderabad to a 93-run victory over Malaysia in the 28th All India Rajiv Gandhi under-19 national and international Twenty20 day/night league cricket championship at LB Stadium on Wednesday.
Batting first, Hyderabad rode on Sagar’s half century-knock and Michil’s 40 to post a total of 142 in the stipulated 20 overs. In reply, the Malaysian batting line up crumbled as Ajaydev spelt doom collecting four wickets finishing them off for a mere 49 runs. Niteen Gopal also provided good support collecting two for six.
Moideen (3/2) captured three wickets to help his side Chennai register a nine-wicket win against Haryana in another encounter. Meanwhile, Srehas hit an unbeaten 40 to help Rajasthan beat Tamil Nadu by nine-wickets.
