Sangareddy: VRO’s bike set on fire by illegal miners

Sangareddy: Four masked persons have taken away the bike of a village revenue officer and set it on fire on the outskirts of Ishmailkhanpet village of Sangareddy mandal on Friday morning. According to Sangareddy Rural Police, VRO Chinthapally Pentaiah inspected a place on the outskirts of the village following a complaint of illegal sand mining. When he was going around the place on his two-wheeler, some masked men confronted and chased him.

In a bid to escape, Pentaiah abandoned his bike and ran into the village. When he returned to the place with other revenue officials and some villagers, the bike was gutted. Sangareddy Rural Police registered a case.
