Sarvail school will top in the country: Kadiam Srihari

Srihari stated that the State government has taken up several measures to ensure quality education for the poor students.

Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiam Srihari and Minister for Power G Jagdish Reddy lay foundation for new building complex at Sarvail in Sansathan Narayanpur mandal on Sunday.

Yadadri-Bhongir: The Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiam Srihari on Sunday said residential school at Sarvail would be developed as a best residential school in the country.

Along with the Minister for Power G Jagdish Reddy, the Deputy Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for new building complex, which was taken up at a cost of Rs 18.61 crore on the premises of Telangana State Residential School at Sarvail in Sansathan Narayanpur mandal. The residential school was popularly known as Sarvail school across the State.

Speaking on the occasion, Srihari stated that the State government has taken up several measures to ensure quality education for the poor students. Reminding that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has planned KG to PG free education, he pointed out that hundreds of residential schools have been setup in the State as a part of it. The State government has also increased budgetary allocations to the education sector in this regard.

Jagdish Reddy reminded that Sarvail school was enjoying a special recognition in the education sector. He asked the teachers to work with dedication to keep up it. Several students of Sarvaial schools were at top positions in different sectors. He reminded that the State government has launched 500 residential schools for SC, ST, BC and Minority students in this academic year.

Munugode MLA K Prabhakar Reddy, Thungathurthy MLA Gadari Kishore, Yadadri-Bhongir district Collector Anitha Ramachandran and Suryapet district Collector K Surendra Mohan also attended the programme.
