Mancherial: Unable to bear financial crisis, a security guard from Kaghaznagar town committed suicide by jumping in front of a goods train in Rajivnagar on Wednesday evening. The incident came to light on Thursday.

Government Railway Police Sub-Inspector Jithender Reddy said the deceased was Bodduna Bapuji (38), a resident of Kousarnagar in Kaghaznagar town. He was a security guard at Kesoram Cement Company at Basanthnagar of Peddapalli district.

Bapuji resorted to the drastic step as he was depressed by the financial hardships he faced. His wife runs a private chit business. In a suicide note, purportedly written by him, he alleged that two women were responsible for his death. However, the police said the couple was struck by huge losses in the business.

The security guard leaves behind his wife, son and daughter. Based on a complaint filed by the family members, a case was registered.
