Hyderabad: Sree Sharan Kanugovi tasted double success as he emerged champion in the under-14 and under-12 boys sections of the Spoors State Ranking tennis tournament that concluded at Pallavi School Playground, Bowenpally in Secunderabad on Tuesday.

Sree Sharan registered a comfortable 6-2 win over Prathnav Masabatula in the under-14 summit clash while he ousted Anish Reddy Kancharla 6-3 in the under-12 final.

Meanwhile, Saumya Ronde, who was in line for a double title win, suffered a setback in the under-12 girls final when she lost to K Malishka 6-4 but eased past M Srivalli with a 6-1 score line in the under-14 category to bag top honours.

In the under-10 section, Sri Pranay Tamma beat Chaitra Darshan Reddy 6-2 to grab the boy’s title while K Ikaraju was crowned the girls champion overthrowing S Sai Sahasra 6-2.
