Siddipet Police foil man’s suicide bid

Siddipet:  Siddipet police saved the life of a man who slashed his wrist in an attempt to commit suicide after an argument with his family member on Wednesday night.

Kasithe Srinath (35), a native of Mangamma Thota in Siddipet town, had an argument with his father Balaiah, and fled from the house threatening to end his life on Wednesday evening. Balaiah, Srinath’s wife and children then approached the police. Following the directions of One Town Inspector Siadulu, an ID party with the help of IT core team traced Srinath by tracking his mobile number.

Srinath was seen sitting at Yellamma Temple, and he was bleeding profusely from the wrist. The ID party shifted him to a hospital. After providing treatment, police organised a counselling session for Srinath and his family members. Balaiah and the family thanked the police for saving Srinath’s life.
