Riyadh: Ten foreign workers including six Indians killed in fire mishap in Riyadh on Sunday, all these workers belonging to carpentry workshop and living in same premises when fire occurred.

Civil defense authorities have announced that 10 workers died and 3 were injured in the incident.

According to civil defense authorities that a fire broke out at a carpentry workshop in the Badr district of Riyadh and received call at 4:17 AM and rescue teams were rushed to spot to douse flames which engulfed entire workshop area.

According to primary information among 10 dead 6 were from India and two each from Pakistan and Bangladesh.

It is believed that workers were sleeping in their accommodation when incident occurred and further details not known.
