A video of ‘alcohol smoking’ or ‘vaping alcohol’ is doing the social media rounds yet again, after surfacing first in 2014 and going viral in virtually all the years that followed.
The video, curated by popular orator and social media celebrity David Wolfe shows the ‘smoking’ machine that vapourises alcholol, turning it into mist so that you can simply inhale it.
Banned in the US and sold for $700, the VapShot is a machine making it convenient to get high, without damaging the liver and without having to drink a lot, but there are health hazards too.
While the video mentions that throwing up is the body’s way of telling you that you’ve had too much alcohol already, it also mentions, for a brief passing second, that you can’t throw up inhaled alcohol.
“Inhaled alcohol cannot be purged from the body by vomiting, which is the body’s main protection against alcohol poisoning,” according to Wikipedia.
It has hence worried doctors about overdosing on alcohol, since all and sundry agree that without any liquor going through the liver and without any vomiting sensation for a red signal, one does not know when to stop. But even if you are not interested in ‘smoking’ alcohol, watch the video here, just for fun:
