Special teams to monitor pattadar passbook printing in TS

Hyderabad: The State government has constituted special teams of officers to liaise and closely monitor the entire process of printing of Pattadar passbooks. These special teams have been constituted to provide the selected printers with technical assistance and as well as liaison with the National Informatics Centre and all the district administrations to obtain data for printing and delivery of the Pattadar passbooks to all the districts according to the time schedule fixed by the government.

The instructions were issued by Chief Commissioner of Land Administration Rajeshwar Tiwari. The team of eight officials appointed for the liaison work have been instructed to contact the Joint ColIector/District Revenue Officers concerned for approval of the data for printing of the passbooks. They have also been instructed to randomly select passbooks from every one lakh to be printed for a quality check.

If any, errors are noticed in printed passbooks, these must be reported immediately to the respective DROs and the designated liaison officer who in turn will coordinate with the printing agency and replace the cancelled defective passbooks with accurate ones.

Each of the two-member liaison team will have a technical assistant and another officer who have been selected from the CCLA staff. The printing of the passbooks has been contracted to eight companies capable of printing high security documents.
