Yadadri-Bhongir: The three-day Sri Narasimha Jayanthotsavam began at Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple (Balalayam) on Yadadri hill shrine on Wednesday.
Jayanthotsavams began with ‘vishwakthsena puja’ and ‘swasthivachans’ by the temple priests at 9 am. The temple priests also performed ‘raksha bandhan’ and ‘laksha pushparchana’ for the presiding deity at the temple. Devotees got the opportunity to have darshan of Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy in the attire of Sri Venkata Tirupathi on the day.
Temple Executive Officer N Geetha also participated in the puja programmes on the day. Speaking to the media, Geetha said all the arrangements had been made in ‘homa mandapam’ at the temple for Sri Narasimha Jayanthotsavam. On Thursday, Sri Lakshminarasimha Swami would provide darshan to the devotees in the attire of ‘Kaleeya Mardhana’ and ‘Hanumanth seva’ would also be performed.
Sri Narasimha Jayanthotsavam would conclude with ‘sahastra kalashbisekham on May 17. Simultaneously, Sri Narasimha Jayanthotsavam were also being conducted at Patha Gutta Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple.
