Sri Venkateswara temple was inaugurated after Maha Kumbhabhishekam at Jubilee Hills on Wednesday.

Hyderabad: The Sri Venkateswara temple in Jubilee Hills was inaugurated on grand note on Wednesday after Maha Kumbhabhishekam. The religious ceremony was performed in the auspicious Meena Lagnam between 6 am and 7.30 am while a team of ritwiks and vedic scholars performed religious rituals as per the tenets of Vaikhanasa Agama.

Speaking on this occasion Executive Officer, Anil Kumar Singhal said that the temple was opened on a ceremonial note with Ankurarpanam on March 8. He thanked the religious staff for carrying out all rituals in a systematic manner.

Tirupati JEO, B Lakshmikantham said that canopy greenery system would be developed along with quarters for archakas, prakaram and other developments and some arjitha sevas will also be introduced soon in the temple.

TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, JEOs KS Sreenivasa Raju, Lakshmikantham, CVSO Gopinath Jatti, TTD Board Members Rudraraju Padmaraju, P Ramesh Babu, Raghavendra Rao, the president for local advisory committee (LAC), TTD, Ashok Reddy and others were present.
