Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has made elaborate arrangements to issue student bus passes in Greater Hyderabad Zone for the year 2019-20
Students have to apply for all types of bus passes such as free, route, general, greater, special, exclusive and district route passes through TSRTC website (https://online.tsrtcpass.in) from June 1.
Private educational institutions must have to obtain their bus pass code by registering all their courses and payment of administrative charges. Government and aided institutions, however, are exempted from such charges. Private educational institutions will be allowed to issue bus passes only if they pay administrative charges.
The online application form filled in by the student should be saved under the institution name along with their respective code. After submitting the application, the head master or principal or director or dean of the institution has to forward the application form to TSRTC.
After applying for student bus pass through online, he or she has to get a print out of the computer generated acknowledgment receipt and visit the institution and ensure that their application form has been forwarded to TSRTC. Later, students can visit their preferred bus pass counters on the specified date to obtain bus pass, release added.
