Students of Pallavi Int’l School don leadership mantle

The first investiture ceremony of Pallavi International School, Keesara for the academic session 2020-2021 was held recently with great pomp and dignity during a special virtual ceremony. The event was presided over by Chief Guest DIG Saroj Kant Mallick, Deputy Director, National Industrial Security Academy, Dr T Sudha, Academic Director, Pallavi group of institutions, Sushil Kumar, Director, Pallavi International School, Keesara, Principals of Pallavi Group of Institutions and parents.

The Investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability, they also pledge to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities.

The ceremony was held with zest. It commenced with the lighting of the lamp, which signifies the removal of darkness. The elected leaders’ profiles were displayed on the screen. They were conferred with badges and sashes virtually. The students’ council took the pledge to hold their responsibilities in high esteem. DIG Saroj Kant Mallick in his address to the students and parents congratulated them and urged them to discharge their duties honestly.

He also exhorted students to uphold values. He said that he believed leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life. He reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school and peers and struggles help one to achieve heights.

He also expressed a desire to meet the student council members in person once the school reopens. Dr T Sudha asked students to be creative and have a naturalistic spirit.

Director Sushil congratulated the student leaders. The newly elected school Head Boy K Sai Subhash spoke about the need for the youth of the country to rise in action. The newly elected Head Girl Yugala thanked the management, staff, parents and students for their support and cooperation. The function concluded with the National Anthem.
