It was the way the kid carefully prepared the sevai to be used for Ramzan at Malakpet that captured my attention. The hanging sevai created a wonderful backdrop to meticulous work involved in making this scrumptious dessert. Vessels lying under the canopy created by the hanging sevai and the boys face covered by the delicate threads represent life to me.
