Teenagers rescued from child marriage top inter exam

Hyderabad: Two teenagers, who were rescued by the Balala Hakkula Sangham last year when they were about to be married off by their parents, have scored above 90 per cent marks in the Intermediate Examination, the results of which were released here on Sunday, a press release said.

The teenagers, V Sandhya and K Sandhya, were rescued with the help of the Ranga Reddy district administration.

A private educational institution, NRI College, had come forward and provided intermediate coaching free of cost to the teenagers, the release added.
