Telangana Government enhances age limit for Forest Range officer jobs

The age limit for the FROs was 28 years and now it will be 31 years. Orders to this effect have been signed by the Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao.

Hyderabad: The State Government has increased the age limit for applying for the jobs of Forest Range Officers to by three years. The age limit for the FROs was 28 years and now it will be 31 years. Orders to this effect have been signed by the Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao here on Wednesday.

The Telangana State Public Service Commission has also been requested to extend the deadline for applying for the post.

The age limit enhancement was ordered after some unemployed persons called on the forest minister Jogu ramanna and expressed their anguish that they were unable to apply for the job because of the age limit.

The forest minister had immediately briefed the Chief Minister who took an instant decision to enhance the age limit, government sources said. The age limit enhancement will facilitate thousands of unemployed youth apply for the recruitment test.
