Nalgonda/Suryapet: Boxes were marked at the groceries shops, milk centres and medical shops across the district by the owners to maintain distance between customers.

Following instructions from the district authorities, the shop owners marked boxes in front of their shops and asked the customers to stand on them maintain distance. Owners were also asked to avoid the close gathering of the people at the shops to purchase items. People in several villages in Nalgonda and Suryapet districts also blocked the roads to their area by placing tree branches and barricades.

People were confined to the houses and celebrated Ugadi festival in a low- key affair. In Nalgonda town, no people were seen selling leaves of mango and neem trees unlike regular years in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
