Telangana Congress complains to CEO

Hyderabad: Telangana Congress party on Thursday in a complaint to Chief Electoral Officer Rajat Kumar alleged that TRS was using 108 service ambulances, police and media vehicles to transport money and urged the CEO to take action on this issue.

In a submission to the CEO, Congress party complained that the police was blaming Congress and Praja Kutami allies for the money seized in searches. It requested Rajat Kumar to instruct the police not to make such announcements until after proper investigations are conducted into the seizures to determine whom the seized moneys belong to.

Meanwhile, Congress also said it has set up a war room in Gandhi Bhavan, the party headquarters to monitor all poll-related events in the State and bring to the notice of the authorities any violation of rules and attempts to bribe voters. The war room will work round the clock till the completion of the poll process, the party said.
