Hyderabad: Supporting the measures taken by the State government to prevent the spread of coronavirus, Coromandel Future Positive donated Rs One crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF). Coromandel MD Sameer Goel, vice-president K Satyanarayana handed over a cheque to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Sunday at Pragathi Bhavan. Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy was also present.
Meanwhile, several organisations donated funds to the CMRF and handed over cheques to IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao at Pragathi Bhavan. ReNew Power CMD Sumant Sinha donated Rs 50 lakh to the CMRF, while Hamtek Technologies India Private Limited MD Srinivas Rao handed over cheque for Rs 25 lakh. Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah gave a cheque for Rs 23.25 lakh which was a consolidated fund raised by several philanthropists, industrialists and professionals from the Nakrekal Assembly constituency. Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy was also present.
