Telangana government, trend setter in development: Jogu Ramanna

Ramanna said the government was winning accolades for conceiving innovative programmes and added that the developmental activities adopted by Telangana can be extended to other states of the country.

Adilabad: Forest and Environment Minister Jogu Ramanna asserted that the State government has set a trend in implementing developmental programmes and welfare schemes. He was addressing the gathering after hoisting national flag to mark 71st Independence Day celebrations held here on Tuesday.

Ramanna said the government was winning accolades for conceiving innovative programmes. “It is being said that the developmental activities adopted by TS can be extended to other states of the country. This can be attributed to determination and dedication of government mechanism,” he added.

Earlier, the Minster inspected parade of police personnel and attended cultural performances presented by school children and cultural troops. He gave away certificates of appreciation to best performing government employees. He also distributed cheques, vehicles and sheep to beneficiaries of various welfare schemes.

MLAs Rathod Bapurao, Collector Dr Budda Prakash M Jyothi, SP M Sreenivas and many other district officials were present.
