Hyderabad: Two persons from Telangana, who ended up being illegal immigrants in Kuwait and had availed the amnesty for such persons announced by the Kuwaiti government, will be returning home on Friday. The return of Bheemara Raju and Ashaboina Anil, from Rajanna Siricilla and Kamareddy districts respectively, was facilitated by IT and NRI Affairs Minister KT Rama Rao who instructed the General Administration Department to coordinate with the Indian embassy in Kuwait to ensure the safe return of the two men.
In response to the request from the GAD on April 13, the Indian embassy, with assistance from Gangula Muralidhar Reddy, a social worker based in Kuwait, coordinated with Kuwaiti officials on the return to India of Raju and Anil. The Indian embassy officials arranged for the necessary certificates and free flight tickets for the two men.
Both Raju and Anil will return to Hyderabad on Friday by a Jazeera Airways flight. They will be received by officials of the Telangana State Government who have also arranged transport from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to their villages. Raju will be sent to Lingannapet village in Gambhiraopet mandal of Rajanna Siricilla district while Anil will be sent to Muthyampet village in Domokonda mandal of Kamareddy district.
