Hyderabad: The Telangana NRI Forum has decided to participate actively in the State government’s initiative to celebrate the birth centenary of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao across the globe. The Forum will organize a virtual video conference on Sunday with NRI community which will have guest speakers addressing the event especially to recall and remember services rendered by the former Prime Minister to the nation.
According to a press release issued by Gampa Venugopal, founder , chairman of Telangana NRI Forum UK – Europe, former Chief Secretary Jaya Prakash Narayan, and Subhash, grandson of Narasimha Rao would be among the guest speakers. Virendra Sharma , MP, UK, will speak about India-UK relations during the Narasimha Rao’s regime and the friendship between then UK PM and Rao.
IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao has also been invited for this virtual conference. Oxford University prof Dehamsu Manohar will speak on the former Prime Minister’s role in constructive development of India. Telangana NRI Forum has expressed its gratitude to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for giving them an opportunity to take part in this programme.
