Jeddah: Body of Telangana expatriate, who died in Qatar, was flown to Hyderabad on Saturday. Khaja Hameeduddin (52), native of Nirmal district, died on Wednesday due to heart attack.

The deceased’s family approached ICC in Qatar through Padala Bhumesh, a prominent Telangana NRI and ICC executive, who in turn coordinated with Indian Embassy and officials concerned. In record time, despite weekend holidays, the body was flown through Qatar Airways flight to Hyderabad on Saturday, they added.

“Hameeduddin worked earlier in Saudi Arabia and later moved to Qatar. He was under stress as his employment contract was set to expire in a month. He was uncertain about supporting his family back home in Nirmal. Though his relatives working in Dubai promised to help him in finding a new job in Dubai, he was tensed,” a family source told Telangana Today.

Hameeduddin is survived by wife and three children.
