After a gap of five years Telangana tableaux will be showcased at the Republic Day parade. The tableau is all about Bathukamma and Medaram festivals and will highlight the Thousand Pillar Temple. It will have a Bathukamma leading the carrier, followed by a lady carrying jaggery, called Bangaram, offered to the deities at Medaram.
Live folk artistes will perform along the tableau.
