Jayaprakash, hails from Wanaparthy, was found dead in Italy.

Wanaparthy: The body of a software professional from Wanaparthy here was found under suspicious circumstances in Aprilia of Italy.

According to reports reaching here, Jayaprakash, son of a retired Deputy Education Officer from Manajipet village in Ghanpur mandal, was working for American multinational firm IBM in Aprilia town.

For the past couple of days he is learned to have not turned up for work. When his colleagues went to his home on Thursday and checked, he was found lying dead. The cause of the death is yet to be ascertained.

Relatives here are waiting for further details on what exactly happened.

Meanwhile, the family of Jayaprakash, who is survived by his wife and two young children, are trying to get help from External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Embassy officials in Italy to get his body back home.

His sister-in-law Smitha has been tweeting to Swaraj since morning, first asking for confirmation on the news from his colleagues that he was found dead.

She tweeted to the Minister saying his colleagues had informed his relatives that it would take a week for the body to reach India.

“Can you please expedite the process madam… Family is collapsed and he has 2 small children.” (sic), she tweeted.
