Hyderabad: The State government will soon launch the new website ‘Dharani’ for online land records which will be a one-stop solution for all land-related needs, Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali said here on Tuesday.
Replying to a question during Question Hour in the Legislative Council, he said Dharani would be of immense help to farmers in the State in many ways. He said after the launch of the website, mutation of registered documents will be done within 48 hours and succession within ten days. “It will be a real time exercise that can be operated from anywhere and it facilitates immediate redressal of farmers grievances. An SMS and e-Mail alerts will be enabled to all connected persons once the registration process is completed,” Ali said.
He said the new website will also be helpful for hassle-free updation of land records, and it would integrate and deliver services of revenue, registration, survey, agriculture and financial institutions to curtail fake passbooks and to ensure that the subsidies given by the government reach only the genuine farmers.
Replying to a supplementary question raised by TRS member Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, he said all land details including those of hospitals, schools and public utility places will be available on the new website. Ali said during the second phase, land details in HMDA and GHMC limits will also be made available on Dharani website.
