Hyderabad: Telangana Tourism broke new ground on Tuesday when it became the first Tourism department in the country to take its promotional activities to the skies.
The innovative promotion comes in the form of an aircraft wrap, which will be displayed on a Boeing 737-800 jet of private domestic airline Spicejet.
The campaign, which begins with a flight at 4pm on Tuesday will be for two months, with the aircraft slated to touch down at seven to eight airports across the country every day.
Tourism Minister A. Chandulal unveiled the aircraft with the wrap, which has the Qutb Shahi Tombs and the Golconda Fort on one side and the Falaknuma and Chowmohalla Palaces on the other.
