Jayashankar Bhupalpally: The trekking event orgnaised by the eco-tourism wing of the district forest department received good response from the youths, especially by the students of engineering colleges. Nearly 120 nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts have participated the in trekking for two-days on Saturday and Sunday.
They have trekked from Oddugudem to Pasra via Rapatla which is in the deep forest for seven km in the Eturnagaram wildlife sanctuary. They have crossed different streams as part of the trekking.
“It is a memorable experience, we could learn about the customs and tradition of Gotti Koyas. We are lucky to have seen a group of Chowsingas, said a student from NIT, Warangal. Students of SVS Engineering College, Hyderabad Central University (HCU) have also taken part in the event.
