Hyderabad: Weather conditions continued to remain harsh in the city with day temperatures in particular remaining well above the normal for the season.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), temperature recorded in Begumpet on Friday was 43 degree Celsius. Though temperature levels took a dip on Thursday (41.7 degree Celsius), they surged again on Friday offering no respite from gruelling summer.
It was on Wednesday, the city recorded a highest temperature of 43.2 degree Celsius and similar conditions prevailed on Friday. The forecast with IMD shows that temperatures would hover in the range of 42 to 43 degree Celsius in the next few days.
On the other hand, the area-wise temperatures recorded by Telangana State Development Planning Society include Bahadurpura (41.9 degree Celsius), Srinagar Colony (41.9 degree Celsius) and Madhapur (41.7 degree Celsius).
