Hyderabad: The alternative front in national politics would not be merely unification of political parties, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said in the State Assembly on Wednesday. “My endeavour is to unite people and form a people’s front for qualitative change in national politics,” he said.

The Chief Minister said people had a wrong notion about his entry into national politics. He said his intention was not unification of a couple of political parties but instead, wanted to invigorate people to fight against apathy in national politics.

The call for ‘qualitative change’ in national politics by Rao who proposed to float a non-BJP and non-Congress front received tremendous response from various political, civil and social organisations from across the country.
