Three Bangladeshis held for illegal stay in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Balapur police arrested three Bangladesh nationals on charges of illegally migrating to Hyderabad by crossing international borders and obtaining various proofs like Aadhar card, voter identity card, PAN card and other residential proofs claiming to be natives, here on Wednesday. Fake identity proofs were recovered from them.

The arrested persons were identified as Mohammed Yousuf, 30; Mausm Billa, 25 and Mohammed Babu, all three labourers and staying in Balapur. They are natives of Kulna of Bangladesh.

According to the police, due to insufficient income and difficulties in staying in Bangladesh, the trio came to India. They entered India illegally for earning a living with some agents help by paying money. They recently migrated to Hyderabad and were staying in a rented house in Al-Jabri Colony, Balapur.

They were working at Qureshi Cold Storage Company in the same colony.

“Yousuf obtained Aadhar card by furnishing false information to the authorities. Using the Aadhar card, he obtained other documents like Permanent Account Number card and voter card,” police said.

They were staying illegally in India and were sending money they earned here to their families back in Bangladesh through Union Money transfer at Shaheen Nagar in Balapur.
Based on a tip-off, they were caught and the fake identity cards were seized from them. The trio was produced before court which remanded them in judicial custody.
