Kuram Bheem Asifabad: Three youths were arrested for allegedly harassing a girl from Wankhidi mandal in Asifabad on Monday. They had uploaded her intimate videos and photos. One of the accused also duped a native of Mahaboobnagar by pretending to be a girl on Facebook.

He had intercourse with her on the outskirts of Wankhidi and Bellampalli in Mancherial by giving her drugs and promising to marry her eight months ago. He filmed the entire act and stored it on his computer. He took the assistance of Shyam in committing the crime. The girl was then pursuing Intermediate.
Later, Ashok befriended Narender under the guise of a girl on Facebook by creating a fake account and extracted Rs 2 lakh from him. Upon realising this, Narender visited Ashok’s residence and copied the videos and photos. He posted them on social media and porn sites as Ashok failed to repay him.
Meanwhile, the girl went missing from home after learning that her videos had gone viral, on June 20. Her brother approached the police, who in turn registered a case. The three were apprehended and sent to judicial remand. They were booked under SC, ST Atrocities Act and relevant Sections of IT-2008 and POCSO Act 2012.
