Three killed in separate mishaps on NH-65

Sangareddy: Three persons were killed in different accidents in Sangareddy district on Friday on National Highway-65. All three accidents were reported on different locations in an about 10-km stretch of ever-busy Mumbai Highway.

On Thursday night, Budgajangam Anjaiah (35), a resident of Kavalampet in Kandi Mandal, was hit by an unidentified vehicle near Toshiba Company at Rudraram village under Patancheru Police Station limits.

Anjaiah sustained injuries and succumbed to them in the wee hours of Friday. According to the police, Anjaiah’s wife Janagamma died some eight years ago due to illness. The two children of the couple become orphans with the death of Anjaiah and Jangamma.

In another incident, Idulakanti Srikanth Yadav (25), of Isnapur in Patancheru Mandal, died as a goods lorry knocked him down while he was proceeding on his two-wheeler on Friday afternoon. The death was instant for him as his head crushed under the lorry tyre. Srikanth used to earn a livelihood by running an automobile shop at Isnapur.

In third case, a Gram Panchayat worker died under Sangareddy Rural Police Station limits at Kavalampet village of Kandi Mandal.

The deceased identified as Gadela Srinu (45), a resident of Kavalampet, was proceeding towards Sanagareddy town on his bike when an unknown vehicle dashed him. The death was instant for him. A case was registered.
