TiE–ISB Connect to be held in September

Hyderabad: The 12th edition of TiE-ISB Connect organised by TiE Hyderabad and the Indian School of Business (ISB), will be held on September 7 and 8, 2017. The two-day event titled “The Next Trillion – Where and How to Create” will focus on highlighting and deliberating on the sectors where new wealth creation opportunities exist.

The organisers expect 50 investors, 50 business personalities, over 500 delegates including startups, CXOs, government officials to attend the event. Last year over 500 entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship enthusiasts attended. Almost all the top VCs/ investors of the country participated in Investor Connect.

On the Investor Connect event on day one, more than 150 startups are expected to vie for investment from 50 investors. The pressing issues of startups and newer opportunities for the startup sector will be the topic for discussion by key representatives of the government and policy makers who will be attending the event. There will also be a fireside chat moderated by a global influencer.

Announcing TiE ISB Connect 2017, Pradeep Mittal, president of TiE Hyderabad, said, “Our intention is to explore the host of unlimited opportunities in India for the coming decade and enlighten the budding entrepreneurs with less talk and more discussions. This summit is for the entrepreneurs and their questions.”

Leaders from diverse sectors through their keynote and networking discussions will enlighten the startups on opportunities and realities. The principle idea behind this edition and the theme of TiE ISB Connect 2017 is to encourage startup to tap potential sectors and the new frontier for investments and developments.

While day 1 will see the ‘Investor Connect’, the day 2 will focus on identifying enormous business opportunities in infrastructure landscape, rural economy and enabling technologies with the help of panel discussions by eminent leaders from the respective sectors.
