Tiffin centre owner booked in Hyderabad

A case was taken against him for allegedly beating a transgender who reportedly harassed women at his eatery

Hyderabad: The Punjagutta police registered a case against a tiffin centre owner J Bharath for allegedly beating a transgender who reportedly harassed women at his eatery.

According to the police, the victim whose identity is not yet known went to a tiffin centre on Banjara Hills road and pestered Bharath for food. At the eatery, the transgender harassed few of the women customers who were having food.

“Irritated over this, the tiffin centre owner beat him up resulting in injuries and the victim was lying on the road,” said Punjagutta police station Sub Inspector, D Srikanth Goud said. Based on a complaint, the police registered a case and took up investigation.
