TITA reaches out to Sharadha

Hyderabad: Software professionals industry body Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) has come forward to support Sharadha, the IT professional who turned into a vegetable vendor after losing her job at software company due to coronovirus crisis.

TITA enrolled her for a technical course in artificial intelligence and also presented her with a laptop to do the learning.

TITA President Sundeep Kumar Makthala said TITA wanted to extend some financial assistance. However, after learning about her technical prowess and intent to slug it out, it had decided to offer her a course in artificial intelligence. TITA also decided to give a laptop to allow her undergo the certificate course while continuing to support her family by selling vegetables.

‘Sharadha’s story is inspiring in these covid times where job losses are not uncommon”, said Makthala adding that IT industry is not immune to changes happening globally. The IT professionals should hone skills or learn new skills, he said.
