Training camp for Haj pilgrims held in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The first orientation-cum-training camp for Haj pilgrims was organised by the Telangana State Haj Committee at Hi-Tech Garden in Malakpet on Sunday.

Moulana Mufti Khaleel Ahmed Shaik ul Jamia Nizamia was the chief guest. Moulana Abdur Rasheed Talha and others highlighted the rituals and their significance at the camp which was attended by those selected for the Haj pilgrimage in large numbers.

Professor S A Shukhoor, special officer, Telangana State Haj Committee said that pilgrims from Telangana, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh depart for the pilgrimage from the Hyderabad Embarkation point i.e., the RGIA at Shamshabad.

He said that the Telangana State Haj Committee has been making the best arrangements for the Haj pilgrims in the country and added that better arrangements would be made this year as well.
