TRS to set up corporation for economically backward sections

Speaking at a function organised at Telangana Bhavan on Wednesday, the Minister said the TRS and its president K Chandrashekhar Rao were working for the development of the State and welfare of its people.

Hyderabad: The TRS will establish a new corporation for the welfare of economically backward families belonging to the upper castes to provide them opportunities on a par with socially and economically underprivileged sections in the State, IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao said on Wednesday. He observed that despite belonging to upper castes, persons with talent and merit were also facing difficulties due to their poor financial condition.

Speaking at a function organised at Telangana Bhavan on Wednesday, the Minister said the TRS and its president K Chandrashekhar Rao were working for the development of the State and welfare of its people. He pointed out that the State government had introduced numerous schemes ranging from free and uninterrupted power supply to Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bhima schemes. He emphasised the need to provide equal opportunities to all vulnerable sections, including economically backward families from upper castes.
